The puesto, or grill, is approximately 4 feet by 3 feet. A working area of approximately 12 square feet will be sufficient. This provides enough space for guests to approach the grill to order. The puesto is for serving outside areas only. If you're guests are seated inside, they will need to approach the grill outside.
No, table service is not provided. Tacos are served 'Authentic style' by approaching the grill and asking for tacos.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, Money order, or cashiers check made payable to Tacos Famosos.
Are corn and flour tortillas available?
Yes, we serve corn, however flour is available upon request.
How long before the serving time do you need to setup?
We prefer to arrive approximately 1-2 hours prior to the time the guests will begin eating.
When do you drop off the 'puesto'?
We prefer to drop off the grill the day before the event. We also, when possible, prefer to pick the grill up the day after the event. Details will be discussed upon booking
Is the $20.00 booking fee refundable if we cancel the event?
No, the fee is not refundable. However, we are flexible and willing to arrange a different date of service if your plans change.
How much deposit do I need to pay?
A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking.
How are the deposit and booking fee collected?
We will arrange a date and time that works for you to come to the site of the event. At this time the booking fee and deposit will be collected. This will also give us an opportunity to discuss details with you, see the site and answer any questions you may have.
Do we need to have electrical outlets available for you to setup?
No, normally we do not require electrical outlets, unless otherwise discussed. Electrical outlets may be required for night time events. The grill runs on gas.
